Artsy Tckmtrp release notice:

A turnaround transformation has begun. A new track for the future is being explored! The village of Teckomatorp and its surroundings is destined to become widely renowned for a vital and exciting cultural life, and as a place that attracts visitors from far-away because of its display of unique sculptures and other public art objects. From its polluted history, Teckomatorp will rise, and a novel culture zone will be developed in a strategic location close
to the major cities of the region.

It all begun in 2007 with the media-success of “Mother Cow”, a large sculpture by Bernhard Lipsoe, exhibited in conjunction with the strategic move of Galleri Tapper-Popermajer from Malmö to Teckomatorp. Since then, Teckomatorp has been the venue of many exciting international art exhibitions.

In 2009, a big lonely tree became The Magic Tree of Teckomatorp – connected to its surroundings by coloured fabric, sound, and interactive lights. Complemented by a storytelling cabin, the tree created a meeting place that was alive and inspiring, making people more interested in art. The project transmitted positive signals regarding the “artsy” future of Teckomatorp. This is a new beginning …

Artsy Tckmtrp (Music For a New Beginning) contains the music written for the second live performance at Galleri Tapper-Popermajer entitled “Music From the Tree” plus re-recorded material from the first session “Music From the Roof”. Artsy Tckmtrp is only available as a limited edition CD, distributed by the gallery.

Cows, Trains & Chemistry release notice:

The mini-album “Cows, Trains & Chemistry” documents the music written for the opening of the new Tapper-Popermajer art gallery in Teckomatorp, Sweden, and is a brief overview of the recent events around the municipality of Svalöv in sound. The tracks “Cow construction” and “Coming of the Cow” evolve around Bernhard Lipsoe’s exhibition which was the first of the new gallery.

The 10 tracks is the logical continuation of the earlier “Ladonian Incidents” in terms of bringing the concept of Place Specific Art music to another level, making the recorded sounds even more evidently a part of the created soundscapes.
