ANTIYPE EP official release date is finally set

The official release date for the upcoming Neurobash release ANTITYPE EP is now official and confirmed with both involved distributors, Electric Fantastic Sound and Tigon Media. The brand new 6 tracks will be available at Klicktrack Music Store and iTunes at the 19th of January 2009. Previews and EPK to be released shortly on the official web pages of the constellation Neurobash.

The release of the first solo release for the constellation Neurobash for a while over a year is planned to follow in January next year. The 30 minutes of what could be described as progressive electronic music and a new start in the field of popular music for the constellation, will be released by Electric Fantastic Sound on Klicktrack and by Tigon Media at iTunes. Possibly also a special video release will follow already within the last two months of 2008. Another video, directed by Yamo Kawaiah, for the featured title CONFORM will follow with the official release. An extensive interview with the constellation has been promised before the end of the year.

After having moved the main studio to a new location and rebuilding it more or less from scratch, the incorporation of a new lead singer and alongside rehearsals for the upcoming shows evolving around the collaboration with Ralph Lundsten, the work with the next pure Neurobash-release is finally nearing its end. Presently a final touch is being added to the six tracks to be presented in the near future as ANTITYPE EP. An exact release date has not yet been set but will be presented as as soon as it is official.

The official video for NOTHING NEW, previously released on the latest sampler by Electric Fantastic Sound and taken from the forthcoming Neurobash EP, entitled ANTITYPE, has been released on YouTube. The video was directed by Daniel Brandt and features the new look, graphics and lead vocalist of the constellation Neurobash. More on the EP soon.

Neurobash is withdrawing from the collaboration with Lars Vilks

After much deliberation the constellation Neurobash has decided to leave the project DOGS and the collaboration with Lars Vilks. The musical is yet scheduled for an official première in Sweden this autumn - the music written by Neurobash will however not be featured and the YouTube-previews have already been withdrawn. The constellation has refused to make any interviews during the production and redirected all questions to Vilks - this is also now the case.

The only official statement by Neurobash in English, is:

“Neurobash took on the project to write music for Lars Vilks musical DOGS as a natural continuation of the successful previous common musical adventures, and not the least as an interesting creative challenge. Our hope was to, through our contribution, inspire to a constructive debate in regards to the freedom of speech versus art. It is now clear to us that there simply is no room for such a debate in this contect.”

The only official statement by Neurobash in Swedish, is:

“Neurobash antog uppdraget att skriva musik till Lars Vilks’ musikal DOGS som en naturlig fortsättning på tidigare givande samarbeten och en vidare intressant konstnärlig utmaning. Vår förhoppning var att genom vårt medverkande bidra till en konstruktiv debatt rörande yttrandefrihet kontra konst, men det är för oss uppenbart att det helt enkelt inte finns utrymme för en sådan i detta sammanhang.”

New sampler from Electric Fantastic Sound featuring Neurobash

Only three days since the release of the collaboration with Ralph Lundsten, already more fresh material os available from the constellation Neurobash. The latest sampler from Electric Fantastic Sound, Electric Fantastic Sound No. 4 2008, which was released this very morning, features an exclusive version of the track NOTHING NEW, taken from the forthcoming EP by Neurobash. The sampler features 18 tracks in total, with emphasis on pop-oriented electronic music. In this sense - as in so many others - Neurobash might be the exception, while returning to a harder sound blended with fragile but yet powerful vocals by new vocalist Ewan Kelley. THE NAKED MOON AND THE VIRGIN SUN offically released 2008/06/03

The collaboration between the constellation Neurobash and Ralph Lundsten has finally been announced as an official release on the 3rd of June 2008, celebrating the day in the year 1965 when the American astronaut Edward White performed mankind’s first space-walk.

The physical release will be released directly by Andromeda Music through different distribution channels throughout Europe. Pre-orders through your media store of choice should be possible within a week. A digital single from the album has also been announced - released through Experimedia at iTunes and other sites. The date for the single is not yet set but is said to appear near the release of the CD. A digital release of the album has yet not been announced. Release details here.

The Ralph Lundsten / Neurobash show at HalfMachine cancelled

What was originally planned to become the third show in the tour for THE NAKED MOON AND THE VIRGIN SUN has been cancelled due to the same reasons as the previous première show in Berlin. The show was booked by the same agency. More shows following the official release are currently being planned directly by the constellation Neurobash and the constellations regular partner Nangijala Bookings.

First prototype performance of The Virgin Sun and the Naked Moon at Hörby Kulturkalas

Due to the cancellation of the show in Berlin, the first prototype performance of the collaboration between Ralph Lundsten and Neurobash entitled THE NAKED MOON AND THE VIRGIN SUN, will be held at the culture festival in Hörby on the 20th of May. Due to restrictions in regards to instrument arrangements and rehearsals, this first show will be a downsized one rather giving a glimpse of what is yet to come. Still, this is the first time ever the music written together by the legendary Swedish composer and the constellation Neurobash, and is sure to set mark - so the tip is not to miss it. The performance will begin at 22:30 local time and take place at the large stage.
