The British radio show Sound Projector broadcasted the composition CONSTRUCTING TOMORROW as a sample of the album THE NAKED MOON AND THE VIRGIN SUN on the 27th of June. If you missed the live show, you can listen to it right here.
Yesterdays TV-event in the program “Skåne Direkt”, broadcasted live and direct from Lokal Kanal in Malmö city, featured an exclusive interview with Neurobash and a live performance of two songs, the recent single SPOILED in a new version and a first song from the upcoming musical DOGS, entitled RUN LIKE THE WIND. During the interview Neurobash also performed (on of) the national anthem of Ladonia.
The program also featured an interview with Lars Vilks and Fredrik Axwik, the new president of Ladonia.
The entire team of representatives from Ladonia had a really good time and hope that ones watching also enjoyed themselves. If you should have missed the reruns today we hope to be able to arrange a feed on YouTube within the next few days - so stay tuned!
The double performance of “Eslöv By the Sea” was played for a courteous and fascinated audience at Eslövsbinnealen 2007 in the past weekend. The new live-setup with synthesizers, samples and acoustic guitar was a genuine success, giving the second Neurobash project of place-specific new life and a further dimension.
For our art oriented audience, a reminder of the ongoing exhibition of the most excellent Bernhard Lipsoe is still being held at the new Tapper-Popermajer gallery in Teckomatorp, South Sweden. The exhibition features the music by Neurobash composed especially for the opening ceremonies of the gallery and the ongoing exhibition. The resulting CD, “Cows, Trains & Chemistry” is also sold at the gallery. So, why not have a listen and see some wonderful sculptures at the same time?
The performance of the extended version of SALAD SERENADES hit Hörby like a bombshell yesterday evening at the cultural event Hörby Kulturkalas. Two freshly produced tracks and the original five serenades was this time performed without any aggressive political interventions, and no police escorts had to be called in to protect the band or their equipment from possible mutilation. In fact the audience took the concert for exactly what it was: a performance of music, although rather unusual. The live event was greeted with great interest and massive applause, even by the famed actor and host of the cultural event, Janne “Loffe” Carlsson. Neurobash would like to thank everyone who showed up at the release-party at Dunker Bar & Matsalar in Helsingborg yesterday or otherwise showed their support by greetings and otherwise, to help making the evening as pleasant and pleasurable as we could only hope for. Special thanks of course goes to the secretary of State, Lars Vilks, for his highly enjoyable introduction and story telling around the instrumental pieces from the forthcoming LIVE IN LADONIA live-DVD that was premiere screened at the event.
