Yes, you might have been wondering what happened the previously announced DANGEROUS DAYS, even earlier mentioned with the work-in-progress title AMOUNTING TO NOTHING. Did it indeed amount to nothing? No, of course not. But due to our quite recent decision to split up the ongoing project into two separate parts, we also decided to release the more up-beat related material first. Thus, this will become our next album DOCTRINE. DANGEROUS DAYS will be released later this year, or more likely, early next year as a separate album and presumably as a more clearly labeled collaboration with producer and designer Daniel Brandt.

The fact that the works that will be featured on DANGEROUS DAYS has been a truly co-produced made it even more obvious that this material should be released on its own and in its own time. In fact we now have the opportunity to expand the release and finish up on the last details which have taken so long already to settle. And yes, is has not been an easy birth but a very rewarding process. And the result sounds amazing! DANGEROUS DAYS is possible the most beautiful work we have achieved so far – but that also makes it less eliglable as a full out Neurobash album. And, seriously, it might be time to create less confusion around what Neurobash really is as even we ourselves get confused sometimes. This is not to say that Neurobash can not be something beautiful, because indeed it is. But it is another type of beauty.

All in all we are very pleased with the current state of things and feel certain that you will be too.

Not long now. And this time: really. More on Doctrine will be revealed within the next weeks along with a release date and hopefully even some details regarding the upcoming video.

Introducing: Doctrine

Exciting news! The final details of our next adventure has been settled and we are just planning a new video shooting which has already become a fantastic collaboration indeed. Prepare for our next full length-adventure DOCTRINE. We are really happy with the way the new material has turned out and decision to split up the album in two parts has really proven to be the correct one. And we really think that this selection should be the first to be released, bringing us back on the original path intended for Neurobash. We promise this one will really kick.

More soon. Meanwhile, stay true to your faith in the power of music.

So sorry for keeping you all waiting for the big news. As you might have learned by now we love to make last minute plans when it comes to our actual releases. And so we have this time again. We have decided to split the upcoming album into two instead of one. Yes, that is right. Two. And the first one will be ready for release just after the summer. The second one sometime later this year, but possibly under another name. It has, as you might not find all that hard to believe, been discussed before to split up our different projects and sound styles even into completely different bands and different labels.

The simplified background story is that we did not feel entirely comfortable with the track listing of DANGEROUS DAYS and the fact that we would have to leave so many other songs that had appeared during the creative process unfinished as they did not fit the theme for the album. After a lot of painstaking scrutinizing we arrived at the decision to split up the songs that did indeed fit the theme and the songs that in truth not really did. This meant that we could add songs intended as bonus tracks for later release to the second album, among some which we found would be wasted as such.

As things looks right now this will bring us two albums with approximately 40 minutes of playing time each.

And here we though that our output level had been much too low during 2014-2015 … Well, well!

A tribute to collection dedicated to the legendary act Psyche will be released later today, featuring a cover by Neurobash. The tribute album is titled Unforgotten Rhymes – a tribute to Psyche and will be exclusively available on Bandcamp.  The project was initiated by Stefan Rukavina of Radio Body Music and features 23 songs from bands such as Leaetherstrip, Arcana Obscura, Future Trail, The Rorschach Garden, Psygod, Echo West, Steril, Rhesus Factor & Rio Black, Nine Circles, Love Is Colder Than Death, Technoir, Human Nihil and many more. Neurobash has chosen to cover the classic track BLACK PANTHER. For more details and download please visit the official Bandcamp page.

A quick update from the studio: We are currently finishing up the last pieces of the new adventure and a re preparing a digital promo version. A few last minutes changes had delayed to process somewhat but we are now feeling really satisfied with the new material. This sounds like nothing else we have produced up to date – and yet represents the very essence of what we so long have hoped that our music would sound like.

10 new tales from the future. 50 minutes of magic. This music will take you places – some possibly familiar and some brand new. DANGEROUS DAYS has had a way to surprise even us.

Stay tuned and stay patient. Not long now …
